Short Break
This comfortable upstairs apartment deserves its 4 star GOLD rating and will provide you with a superb base from which to explore the Lake District. The Mews abuts on to Derwent Cottage. The whole property is set in mature gardens in the village of Portinscale which is a short drive or a pleasant walk from the market town of Keswick. The Mews is a spacious 1 bedroom apartment that was once part of the stable block.
Saturday changeover
The ground floor entrance area provides ample room for boots and outdoor clothes. Stairs lead to the apartment upstairs.
The upstairs living area comprises a large lounge incorporating dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. The bedroom can either be made up to provide a super king size double bed or a twin bedded room with an en suite bathroom with bath and separate shower over it. Throughout the Mews there is fine attention to detail and quality.
Derwentwater is a few hundred yards from the cottage and Portinscale offers several places for meals and drinks. This is a delightfully secluded property.
