Causey Cottage is a delightful cottage forming part of a terrace of former mill cottages located in the hamlet of Stair.

Downstairs is a large L shaped open plan room providing a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and comfy well furnished lounge area. Also downstairs is a WC and access to the large shared garden which provides an ideal spot in the evening and the chance to chat with the neighbours.

Upstairs there is a spacious double bedroom with views to Causey Pike, a small double bedroom (limited bed access) and a large twin bedded room with views to Catbells, plus the main bathroom with shower over.

Stair is about 4 miles from Keswick with its many shops and places to eat. The delightful Swinside Inn is a short walk from the cottage. Next door to the cottages is Newlands Adventure Centre where a range of activities from canoeing to rock climbing can be arranged.

There are many delightful walks direct from the cottage and Derwentwater is a few minutes drive away.
