The lodges are single story with an open plan comfortable lounge and dining area and well-equipped kitchen. Each lodge has a double bedroom and a shower room, some lodges have a second bedroom with twin beds and children's bunk beds, others have 2nd bedroom with single adult bed and children's bunk beds. Each lodge has its own veranda area. The lodges are kept meticulously clean and well maintained.

The villages of Patterdale and Glenridding are within walking distance or a short drive. Access to the Central Lakes, Ambleside and Windermere is via Kirkstone Pass.
