 Portinscale
is a delightful village just a few minutes' drive from Keswick. It lies
on the shores of Derwentwater and with its own village cafe and pub, provides
a quieter, more tranquil location than Keswick itself, whilst still being
within easy driving or walking distance of Keswick with its many shops and
places to eat. There are two marinas offering a full range of water sports
with a few minutes' walk of the cottage.Stable Cottage is an end of terrace cottage with lots of character. The cottage has recently been refurbished to provide a good balance between original character and modern living.  The lounge provides a cosy place to spend the evening after a day exploring, with its comfortable seating and open fire. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, fridge and microwave. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms, 1 double room, 1 twin bedded room and a single room (with cot if required). Children welcome, Pets by arrangement (£15). No smoking, private parking, heating and power inclusive, linen provided, towels not provided. |
